Introduction Video Overview #

Installation #

The app can be installed through Microsoft AppSource.
Please make sure you have the required permissions before starting the installation.

License Key #

After completing the installation through AppSource, you will receive a license key via email. The email will be sent to the email address you used while installing the app. If you haven’t received your free trial key, please contact support@al-go.dev and we will send you a key within one business day.

Configuration / Setup Wizard #

To configure the app, please open the ‘Sales Order Processor‘ role center in Business Central. Click on the ‘Setup Wizard‘ in the ‘Stripe‘ section on the role center.

  • Step 1: License Key
    Please enter your license key.
  • Step 2: Stripe API Key
    Please enter your Stripe API key.
    Your API key is located under the ‘Developer‘ section of the MailChimp dashboard.
  • Step 3: Finish!
    If the ‘Connection Status‘ is green and connected, your setup is completed and you can click ‘Finish‘.

Customers #

Sending customers to Stripe #

To send existing customer to Stripe, prepare a segment in Business Central. Navigate to a specific ‘Customer Card‘.

Click on the ‘Send‘ or ‘Update‘ action in the ‘Stripe’ group. The segment and all lines/contacts will now be sent to MailChimp. If the action is successful, ‘Sent to Stripe‘ will be set to yes.

Sending customers to Stripe manually is optional. When you send a posted sales invoice to Stripe, the bill-to customer will automatically be created in Stripe if it’s not yet known.

Posted Sales Invoices #

Sending invoices to Stripe #

To send posted sales invoice to Stripe, navigate to the ‘Posted Sales Invoice‘ and click on the ‘Send‘ action in the ‘Stripe‘ group. The invoice will now be sent to Stripe. If the action is successful, a notification will be shown and the app will ask you if you want to open the payment link.

Updating the payment status #

To update the status of the Stripe payment, navigate to the ‘Posted Sales Invoice‘ and click on the ‘Update‘ action in the ‘Stripe‘ group. The status in the ‘Payment‘ factbox will be updated.
